The death of actor David Carradine this week after a return to the limelight is now raising questions. ABC News is reporting his family is asking the FBI to investigate because they are unsatisfied with the Bangkok officials claim that he died during a kinky sex game (Make up you own "Bangkok" and "sex game" joke here).
I think this is a good idea for these reasons:
- It is a foreign country and police force.
- Carradine was not popular among many Asian groups because he was a white American who gained famed playing an Asian Shaolin Monk. Someone might have done him in for this reason.
- More far fetched but worth a look is urban myths about martial arts purist who don't like people making money off ancient martial arts techniques. Rumors have always circulated about 'ninjas' murdering Bruce Lee.
