DID YOU SAY YOU ATE CAT STEW?

This comes to us courtesy of the Today show website and AP. An Italian TV cooking show host has been suspended for talking about eating cat stew "many times." Remember, if you eat pussy, don't brag about it on TV.

CHEETOS USED IN FIGHT

Shelbyville Times-Gazette reports of a domestic assault in which Cheetos were thrown.

"Warrants filed by Cpl. Kevin Roddy, of the Bedford County Sheriff's Department, stated he responded to a call at a home on Pass Road, where 40-year-old James Earl Taylor and Mary S. Childers, 44, were allegedly involved in an argument.

According to Roddy's report, the pair became "involved in a verbal altercation" with each other "at which time Cheetos potato chips were used in the assault."

The police said there was "evidence of assault," but "no physical marks."

What about orange powder marks?

PETA Ad Was NOT As Offensive As That Planters Ad Last Year

I saw the PETA ad NBC turned down over at Ron Davis' Chatter blog. I didn't find it offensive. I thought it was pretty cute. Besides it wasn't as offensive to me as the one from Planters last year with this ugly girl in it (above) that all the guys chased. Why? She smells like Planters Peanuts. How does she get to smell like Planters Peanuts? She RUBS THEM ON HERSELF. GAG! The last image we see of her, she is walking down the street pulling her panties out of her crack.

Some Right-wing wackos would say that it is demeaning to men. Actually, there are some guys out there who are not very evolved and would be attracted to a girl because she smells like peanuts. Trust me, I've answered the phones at Jock 98.7. As a man, I'm not offended (because I'm not a guy like that).

It's the whole "ugly-girl-smells" idea then throw in "the wedgie factor" and this is just in bad taste. Bad part this ad played long after the Super Bowl and USUALLY WHILE I'M EATING. GAG!
BTW, I've seen a photo of what this girl really looks like and she is kind-of cute.

Halloween Movie Ideas

Many people who are too old to trick or treat (or go on a pub crawl) like to rent or purchase horror movies to watch. Granted many popular websites and magazines have "Scariest of All-Time" list, but most of those are films made during the last four decades. Some lazy people give you films made only since 2000. I'm going to give you different choices.

Traditional: The Universal monsters are always good for Halloween. That includes these set featuring Frankenstein, Dracula and the Wolfman. Add to that the Hollywood's Legends of Horror Collection, which included Bela Lugosi and a proto-Goth Chick in Mark of the Vampire, Boris Karloff as politically incorrect villain Fu Manchu, the early color film Doctor X and it's boring sequel staring Humphrey Bogart, Mad Love with Peter Lorre as a Stewie Griffin prototype and Devil Doll with Lionel Barrymore as a Mrs. Doubtfire prototype. Also try out Frederic March's version of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

A Ton of Fun for a Good Price: Check out Mill Creek's Horror Classics 50 Movie Pack. Some great stuff and a few clinkers, but for under $20 bucks in most stores.

For kids: Try to find Mad Monster Party featuring the voices of Boris Karloff, Phyllis Diller and Gale Garnett. There is also the 70's Saturday morning cartoon the Groovie Ghoulies.

Ultimate pick: It's a DVD (pic above) put out a few year ago by Something Weird called Monsters Crash the Pajama Party (Spook Show Spectacular). The title movie is a hokey beach party thing with guys in gorilla suits running around, however if you can maneuver the tricky menu on this you will find several things including Bert I. Gordon's Tormented (a psychological ghost thriller), an anti-cable TV ad using art work from Famous Monsters magazine, monsters movies made by kids from the 20's and 30's (seriously these are good), monstrous musical numbers from the Big Band era (one features a dancing skeleton puppet) and a goofy 50s educational film called Don't Be Afraid of the Dark (the sequel was called Don't Wet the Bed).

Bad Cinema at It's Finest: Andy Milligan's 1970 Vampire film the Body Beneath. Filmed in Highgate Cemetery (fooled some Brits who thought vampires were in Highgate) with red-headed-green vampire women in prom dresses, a hippie hunchback is set on fire and nailed to a church door, a maid has her eyes poked out with knitting needles and the fat ghost of Queen Victoria spouts anti-American sentiments. Here is the trailer to get you interested.

HAVE A HAPPY AND SAFE HALLOWEEN!

Car Wash Sex in Saginaw Sucks

It is the kind of stuff they make bad teen movies about. WLNS TV in Lansing, Michigan has the story of a poor guy looking for oral sex at the car wash. Sadly, he was arrested.

"Police say a Michigan man has been arrested after "receiving sexual favors from a vacuum" at a car wash." A resident called the police and the man was arrested by a police office who approached on foot. The poor dope couldn't get away because he was being held in place by the suction.

His name was released because people would laugh at him for getting it on with a car wash vacuum. I wonder if he was going spray himself with the scent machine.

This Story Will Leave a Bad Taste In Your Mouth

CNN has an update on the strange case of a registered sexual predator arrested for drinking the urine of young boys. According to a WSB-TV story from 2006, 54 year old Allen Patton has been a connoisseur of pee for forty years.

"Listening to him describe it, it's like listening to a crack or cocaine addict. He's addicted to children's urine," Detective Ron Fithen said.

Patton followed boys in the bathroom to retrieve his warm liquid treat. He probably mentally echoed Count De Monet in History of the World Part One famous line, "You look like piss boy."

I'll bet it taste like Heineken.

Embarrassing Banner Ad

Some ads on news websites and blogs are to advertise things related to the content. Adland has this rather amusing screen capture from CNN.com. Ooooppps!

Back in 1979, Nobody Noticed This Ad

1979 was the time of Donna Summer, The Knack, Kansas and Blondie on the radio, The Hulk, Mork and the Dukes of Hazzard on TV, Apocalypse Now, Rock and Roll High School and "10" at the movies.
It is also when Pakistan International Airline ran this now chilling ad, offering service to New York City, in a French magazine. Thanks to Ad Land for this spooky piece of nostalgia.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH ROBOT SEX?

I understand a certain talk radio show host last week took a very firm stand on an issue: He is against sex with robots. DRAT! He knows of my evil plan to create an army of sexy female robots to seduce and enslave all the men in power so I can take over the world. Mwu-HAHAHAHAHA!

Halloween Movies Suggetions - Five Directors Good and Bad

These are just five quick suggestions for movies you might want to watch tonight. I narrowed it down to five good and five "bad but fun" movies from famous directors. I wish I had more time to give you a list of great directors and films (It is hard to narrow it down to five). On the other hand the five "bad" directors had more than one "bad film that is fun to watch." Also these are my favorites not necessarily which one is best.

1. Alfred Hitchcock - Psycho
2. Tod Browning - Mark of the Vampire
3. Wes Craven - Scream
4. Ridley Scott - Alien
5. George Romero - Night of the Living Dead

1. Ed Wood - Plan 9 From Outer Space
2. Andy Milligan - Rats Are Coming, The Werewolves Are Here
3. Larry Buchanan - Zontar the Thing From Venus
4. William Beaudine - Bela Lugosi Meets the Brooklyn Gorilla
5. Al Adamson - Dracula Vs Frankenstein

Updating a few things

I'm behind on a few things because I had to get a new computer.
  • Sorry I didn't get in on the discussion with Snarling Marmot on the favorite eats. I wish I had more time to frequent some of the local establishments (I will say Ebbets Field has some of the best French Fries). I eat most of my meals at Chilli's. They have the best staff of any resteraunt in town and they're not afraid to serve a man in a mask and cape. I will throw out that we should have a talk about places that are no long apart of the Queen City. As a sickly child who had to visit the doctor here in town quite often, I miss the buffet at Pizza Planet. It sat on Glenstone at the bottom of the bridge over Trafficway. I also miss that place on Glenstone that had 25 cent coney dogs on Tuesday. Also PoBoy's Cajun food.
  • Thanks to Ron Davis of Chatter for the link to Bedazzled, a site about vintage stag films.
  • Speaking of which I hope to have more Studio ads from the Springfield Daily News.
  • I want to apologize to the folks from KSPR 33 news. They had a story on the demolition of North Town Mall in March (which was around the time I heard it). I'm never at home when their news is on. The only local news I see is KY 3's replay at 1:30 a.m. To try and make up I'm linking to one of the greatest things KSPR ever did: The Late Night Horror Show with Count Norlock. These turned up on You Tube recently. First Count Norlock's Black and White episode. The second one features a gargoyle guest host. A little behind the scenes gossip. Count Norlock wanted the gargoyle to take over the show after he retired. Unfortunately, the network brass gave the job to Flabber from Big Bad Beetleborgs. The Gargoyle got an offer from CBS and took it (If you don't get the joke here, you've been out of the loop for about a decade).
